Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against “WOW! Work Out World”

On Monday, September 17, 2012, The Jacobs Law, LLC filed a Class Action Lawsuit Against the owners of the physical fitness facility “WOW! Work Out World” located at 17 Winter Street, Boston, Massachusetts – Blast Fitness Group, LLC and others.
The lawsuit, filed in Suffolk Superior Court, in Boston, Massachusetts, alleges “WOW! Work Out World”engaged in breach of contract, common law fraud, intentional misrepresentation, and negligent misrepresentation in conjunction with the operation and closing of the physical fitness facility “WOW! Work Out World” located at 17 Winter Street, Boston, Massachusetts.
Specifically, the lawsuit alleges that WOW! Work Out World continued to engage consumers into entering new membership agreements at the address identified above, despite its apparent impending closure on September 13, 2012.
The lawsuit asks the Court to award damages to the affected members, including reimbursement of certain joining fees, annual rate guarantee fees, and membership fees as well as civil penalties.
